e is a graduate (Bachelor of Music) of the Department of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia, with specialization in “Composition” (class of Ilias Papadopoulos, Stamatis Pasopoulos). At the same time he studied saxophone and Jazz studies at the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki (Haris Kapetanakis class). He holds a Master’s degree (Master of Music) in the same department, specializing in “Early music and modal musical traditions of the Mediterranean”.
As a composer, performer and musicologist, he explores and considerates new ways of approaching and applying traditional, classical world and modal music via contemporary art and creation, which is characteristic of his work and his performing act. Another element characterizing his work is improvisation and “on-site” composition.
Ιn 2022, he was selected by the Canadian ECM inc. (East Chamber Music) as one of the 10 composers worldwide, to participate in the East Chamber Festival, Ontario, Canada.
In 2021, as a Composer-In-Residence, his sextet work “Antonian Surcease” for alto saxophone, clarinet and string quartet, was presented in the framework of the program of the Greek Ministry of Culture and National Greek Opera “All of Greece, a culture”.
In 2021, his new piece “Myéo” for solo Glissotar (glissonic tarogato) was awarded by “Sonus Foundation” (Hungary) in the context of the International Competition “CALL FOR SCORES” for glissotar.

In 2021, he served adjunct teaching debts, as assistant teaching personnel in the Department of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia, with cognitive object “Composition and Orchestration in Modal Music”.
